- Research

Questions worth investigating properly.

Some of the most interesting questions in our work don’t have simple answers.

Our research explores questions emerging from leadership, organisations and human relationships. We are interested in understanding what is happening, testing emerging ideas in practice, and learning from what we find, including when the evidence challenges what we expected.

We currently have two distinct strands of research.

Developing Resilient Potential

Could the microclimates we create change our capacity to meet what comes next?

Collaborative research by Dr Rona Mackenzie, Jenny Weidner and James Carter exploring how the conditions people create together may influence collective capacity and resilience. We are inviting a small number of Multi-Academy Trusts to join as research and development partners.

Seeing Difference Differently

Could greater awareness of interpersonal difference help us understand one another, and recognise when respect is called for?

Emerging Master’s research by Dr Rona Mackenzie exploring interpersonal preference awareness and the development of virtue perception in relation to respect.
